Types of brushes:

Annotation: Drop a pin to mark a location**

Light Beam: Place a light beam to mark a location

Polyline: Draw outlines to indicate an area.

Polygon: Place a polygon to indicate an area.

How to insert the annotation

Step 1: Click “Brushes” in the toolbar

Step 3: Insert the annotation to mark your interested position

i. Annotation

  1. Left click to specify the first point of the polyline.
  2. Specify the endpoint of the first polyline segment.
  3. Continue specifying segment endpoints as needed.
  4. Right click to end.

iv. Polygon

  1. Left click to specify the first point of the polygon.
  2. Specify the endpoint of the first polygon segment.
  3. Continue specifying segment endpoints as needed.
  4. Right click to end.

Step 4:Change the properties of the brush

After you add the annotation, the panel of that annotation will be showed up.

i. Annotation

You may change the name, label icon , pin height , text alignment and position of the pin. Switch off the “Entire Visibility” to hide the pin.

ii. Light Beam

You may change the name, colour, radius, height and position of the pin. Switch off the “Label Visibility” to hide the label of the light beam.

iii. Polyline

You can not only change the general properties, but also can change the texture and the animation effect of polyline.

iv. Polygon

You can remove the top/bottom plane of your polygon. Adjust the polygon opacity and height of plane by dragging the slider.

Copy or Remove the brush

In the panel of each brush, there are copy and rubbish bin icons for you to choose.

Tips

You’ll find the layers panel in the top left corner of the screen. The layer panel shows all layers (i.e. 3D models, annotations…) on your planet.

The “Fly to” icon allows you to directly manipulate the target location. This is useful to quickly navigate to a specific location on the planet.

You can share the link of specific location to your friends by clicking the “Share” button.
